故事中优一郎因为童年时期家人被吸血鬼残杀而不断自责，对家人的牵绊使得他内心被仇恨充斥，如同歌词“他们是否仍被你深藏于记忆这份牵绊又是否将将你如木偶般操纵”。而奇迹般活下来的米迦尔认为这个错误不应该由优一郎一人独自面对这份痛楚，所以歌词中出现了“所以不要独自承受那些我们引来的咎责，也切勿如过去一般 只身一人扛起所有重担”一句，随后歌曲回到了折磨两位主角无数个夜晚的那一天：“没有预兆 没有光明一切都变得混乱不堪”，当两位主角因为命运再次相逢时，被仇恨侵蚀的优一郎变身堕天使，向昔日的的家人米迦尔刀剑相向时，他们二人终于意识到“正是这份伤痛 令我们认识到自己终究是人类”。会因为伤害家人而痛彻心扉，无论是变为堕天使的优一郎还是变为吸血鬼的米迦尔，此刻他们的内心的软弱造成的痛楚使得二人依旧只是人类。
从小就更加成熟的米迦尔更是意识到只有舍弃留恋破碎过去的温柔，才能获得保护现在最后家人的强大，“我不希望任何人死去我会前来迎接你为此我已随时准备好战斗”温柔的他才下定决心要将优一郎救出，不仅仅是从人类手里，而是从这一份仇恨的因果之中。“我们士气如虹，如同镰刀般掠过敌军”和“只要需抬起头 勇敢地迈出这一步你就将重获自由”则是米迦尔希望再次和家人重聚，两人协力重获自由的美好愿景。
