After the film, my boyfriend told me Buck reminded him of Jack Sparrow from the acclaimed 'Pirates of the Caribbean' franchise. The animation was beautiful. With each film in the series, the animation gets better. The scenery and colors were great, and the characters were well done as well.
A lot of people seem to have an issue with the dinosaurs. They claim it isn't realistic. My only argument against that is, "Do you think the first two were all that realistic?" if you see this film, you just need to let your imagination stretch a bit. Accept that there are dinosaurs in it, and you'll love it. Don't get hung up on the fact that dinosaurs were long gone before the Ice Age.
The film moves at a fast pace and has many laughs along the way. It's a great adventure and I really think it will be popular when it hits theaters. 法宝三：内容的娱乐性
当然好莱坞动画最大的卖点就是它娱乐性。就拿《冰河时代3》中的树獭希德来讲，这是一个油嘴滑舌、见风使舵但有一颗善良的心灵的市井小混混形象，他几乎就是《冰河时代》系列的灵魂人物，也是这个系列的最大的娱乐点。他有着普通人类的一切弱点，但是又有着普通人类的基本人性，正是这种草根性，保证了影片整体上的亲民性，所以人们再怎么给电影挑刺，你看完了都得笑一笑，你一笑，钱没了，那电影就算成功了。有意思的几乎好莱坞所有的动画电影中都有一两个类似希德的角色，比如《史莱克》系列中的驴子、《花木兰》系列里的木须龙、《狮子王》系列中的大猩猩和后来出现的那个那两个活宝——丁满和彭彭，这些角色的出现极大的增强了影片的娱乐色彩，有的甚至反客为主，成为人们心目中印象极深的“主角”。这就要归功于好莱坞动画制作者善于制造和贩卖娱乐的能力了，这种能力几乎已经工业化，形成了生产流水线。角色的基本套路已经确定，只要创造一个角色按照这个套路走，基本就成功了。只要逗乐了大家，你还能说什么？你看得不就是一个乐呵吗？
法宝四：情节的拟人性
个人觉得这一点几乎是动画电影的灵魂，拟人化这个工作做好了，出来的东西就可能是精品。《冰河时代3》中出现了一个类似于堂吉诃德式的人物——鼬鼠巴克，这个角色身上体现的是人类身上更深层次的东西，那就是一种追求，一种具有自我牺牲精神的追求，虽然角色荒诞，但是我们又不能不承认这种精神确实在人类身上可以找到。好莱坞动画最值得称道地方在于，能把某些道理在嬉笑怒骂的娱乐之中讲出来，叫你笑过之后，还得回味，而不是机械地说教。叫我至今印象深刻的地方是在《狮子王》中，刀疤望着逃离的小辛巴的影子，阴沉地对土狼（如果我没记错的话）说：“杀了他！”——这一情景活脱脱地是一副动画版的黑社会老大的样子，叫人玩味无穷。在《霍顿与无名氏》中，最后的结局表明真理往往是掌握在少数人手上，片中的宏观世界和微观世界最终归于美好，但是现实中却往往难以达到这样一种皆大欢喜的结果，因此使得影片整体上的内涵更加深刻。《WALL-E》中更是把人类的末世情节和对爱的渴望淋漓尽致地运用到了机器人的身上，观看本片几乎成了一次心灵升华的过程。反观我国的动画电影，总是免不了说教，更可笑的是我们进行传统文化教育、品德情操教育、爱国主义教育也往往是临时的说教，而不懂得潜移默化寓教于乐才是王道。
除此之外就是在动画技术上的领先性，这个是有目共睹的，无需再说。
《冰河时代3》不能算一部经典的动画片，但它有着好莱坞动画电影的所有特点，动画效果逼真、老少咸宜、温情脉脉、娱乐十足。可以说好莱坞动画电影产业已经形成流水线作业规模，只要剧本搞定，技术保障是毫无问题的。近几年来好莱坞的动画电影，尽管质量上有高低，但几乎鲜有彻底失败的例子。因为从流水线上出来的东西，都具备上述几个为人们所认可的特点，只是在这几个特点的整合上有高低之分，但这足以保证未出场已经稳操胜券了，剩下的不过是赚钱多少的问题了。
因此《冰河时代3》拍得未必多成功，但赚钱赚得高明，这种高明之处需要中国动画电影人多多学习。

早听说《冰河世纪》是一部可爱、有趣的动画片，但是一直没有看。因为我总觉得现在是大孩子了，还要去看动画片实在有点幼稚。但是当我真正观看《冰河世纪》我才发现，原来它真的不仅仅是一部动画片。因为《冰河世纪》，我彻底的改变了对动画片的认知，原来不管是否是电影、电视剧，只要故事情节好，用真情打动人心，动画片只是一种表现形式而已，而相对于故事情节，形式何足挂齿？只要它打动了你的心……
故事讲的是一只树櫴、一只老虎与一只大象为了救一个人类的小孩在途中所遇的种种，影片的故事背景，很适合在这样一个炎炎夏日来欣赏：这是一个发生在冰河时期的故事，因此所有的场景都是一片白雪皑皑，冰天雪地，看着这样的画面，如同身临其境，仿佛你就处在那样一个纯净、凉爽而唯美的冰河世纪……，当然画面只是构成这部影片之所以成为佳作的一个因素，故事情节才是重中之重：人类为了生存，杀害了几只老虎，而老虎为了复仇，决定生擒人类的一个小孩，几番争斗之后，孩子的妈妈为了保护小孩，勇敢的跳入了瀑布下面，并顺流直下漂到了河边，恰好遇到了大象文辉与树櫴森仔，森仔决定把小孩安全护送到人类手中，这时老虎大阿哥也追了过来，看着身强体壮的大象文辉，老虎不敢轻举妄动，于是决定跟随其行，趁机把它们引入老虎圈，那里埋伏着一群急于报仇及饥饿过度的老虎。可是在追赶人类的途中，它们途经一个火山，老虎不小心差点掉下去，扒着冰沿吊在空中，而身下就是滚烫的熔焰，在这千钧一发之际，大象文辉为了救老虎大阿哥，不顾身下是摇摇欲坠的薄薄冰层，用鼻子把老虎拉了上来，而它却因为冰层的断裂而掉入熔焰之中，那一刻，我的心也随着它一点点坠落，伤心、遗憾、焦急……而当它的冰层坠落火山口，又被蒸汽冲上悬崖之际，我兴奋的表情溢于言表，“好象果然有好报”！而大阿哥也被文辉的举动所深深震憾，心有余悸的问文辉为什么要冒死救它，文辉悠悠的说：因为我们是一伙的！大阿哥彻底放弃了它当初的计划——即把大象引入埋伏圈，因此当他们即将步入陷阱之时，大阿哥为了拯救文辉，而奋不顾身的与同族虎群撕杀，在大家的共同努力下，虎群被赶走，而它们也终于追上了正在四处寻找小孩的人类，刚开始人类还试图要杀害大象，可当他们看到大象把背上的孩子安全的放到他们面前时，人类终于明白，它们是朋友，不是敌人，要知道，大象文辉的妻子和孩子都是死于人类之手，而它却没有复仇，而是仇将恩报，用它的实际行动感化了人类……
那一刻，我在想，其实动物很多时候真的是最善良的，世上最凶残的动物其实是人类，而这部片子的初衷正是要唤醒人类的良知，让他们与动物和平相处，因为地球不是人类自己的，是属于所有生命的，它们全是大自然的恩赐……
影片不只打动人心，仅仅要俘虏你的眼泪，且轻松诙谐，好多地方都能让你开怀大笑，比如：树櫴森仔不小心踩到了另外一只动物的粪便上，它恶心的甩啊甩，并跑跑跳跳的踩到了另外两只犀牛好不容易找到的一朵蒲公英上，并把粪便嗖嗖的甩到了犀牛脸上；以及为了饥饿的小孩而与一大群杜杜鸟争西瓜的时候；还有误入山洞看到冰封在里面的各种动物的时候；还有一不小心发明了火种却因为高兴过度尾巴背点着的时候……，大多的搞笑情节，绝对让你笑中有泪，泪中有笑……

After the events of "Ice Age: The Meltdown", life begins to change for Manny and his friends: Scrat is still on the hunt to hold onto his beloved acorn, while finding a possible romance in a female sabre-toothed squirrel named Scratte. Manny and Ellie, having since become an item, are expecting a baby, which leaves Manny anxious to ensure that everything is perfect for when his baby arrives. Diego is fed up with being treated like a house-cat and ponders the notion that he is becoming too laid-back. Sid begins to wish for a family of his own, and so steals some dinosaur eggs which leads to Sid ending up in a strange underground world where his herd must rescue him, while dodging dinosaurs and facing danger left and right, and meeting up with a one-eyed weasel known as Buck who hunts dinosaurs intently.
感受：
Its all about family in essence. Starting one, keeping one, becoming one, protecting one. A family film about family is always going to ring the right bells (unless Eddie Murphys in it), and this is no exception! It's funny, its sharp, it's clever, and when it wants too will tug on your heart strings. It's everything a great family film should be. It has just as much humour to keep the grown ups happy as it does the kids.
It's not perfect; it starts fairly slowly with scenes we've already scene twenty times in the trailer, but the further you go into this adventure the more fun you will have.
A fantastic new addition to the franchise is "Buck" (Simon Pegg) a looney tune hermit possum who joins the herd around half way through. When he enters the scene, the whole movie shifts up a gear! Some of the stuff he comes out with will have you rolling in the isle! If you have the chance, you must see it in 3D! It's amazing how this new version of such an old and dated technology can suck you even deeper into a film! The chases are more exciting, the locations more real, it works so well! And it doesn't give you a migraine!
Overall - Like a franchise should, Ice Age gets better and better and better! If you liked the first, you'll love the second! If you loved the second, you'll go crazy for the third!
